As well as incoming mail, documents generated electronically inside your business can also be filed without printing a paper copy with fileSMART. Insurance documentation, creditor payments, leases, inspection reports and general correspondence can all be stored under a property or owners corporation. Simply print to the fileSMART printer and you will be prompted for the document type and location of where to file the document. You can also complete this action from within REST Professional and STRATA Master so you’re able to correctly file a document or even an email without ever having to exit your trust account software.
Once stored in fileSMART, documents can be searched, retrieved, reviewed, printed, or sent whenever you need them.


Change the way you handle documents in the office with fileSMART Workflow. The Workflow feature allows an agency to make document and invoice handling completely paperless. Users can scan new documents into fileSMART as soon as they come in the door and electronically move documents around the business for different tasks such as review and approval. The document journey and any user comments are tracked the document’s history. The approval of a document, such as an invoice can be completed electronically so there is no longer the need to print, stamp and initial the document to approve it. When the invoice is ready to be filed, a single click in fileSMART archives the document and sends the invoice data to REST Professional or STRATA Master for processing.
When processing barcoded invoices, fileSMART will prefill the barcoded data allowing you to process hundreds of barcoded invoices in the time it used to take to process just one!
