Strata growth at Rockend

Rockend is pleased to announce it will acquire the StrataMatic business from Aussie Made Software (AMS) on 2 November 2009
This acquisition adds over 170 new clients to Rockend’s existing 200 STRATA Master clients making the combined business the largest supplier of strata software and services in Australia and New Zealand.
Rockend CEO John Goddard said “This acquisition cements Rockend’s position as the clear market leader in strata solutions and adds to our capabilities specifically in Queensland and Victoria. We have been working with Steve Hogan the owner of AMS on due diligence tasks since July. Rockend senior manager Scott Shepherd will lead the integration activities that start with the transition of key AMS staff and ensuring continuity of support services.”
Notification letters have been sent by AMS and Rockend to all AMS clients on support agreements. A key message is that Rockend plans to maintain the current StrataMatic platform and there is no immediate need for a client to consider changing software. According to John Goddard “both StrataMatic and STRATA Master have their own unique features that clients like and expect. In due time we will build a common platform that includes all of these great features for the rapidly growing global body corporate market.”
Improving StrataMatic support and education services will be the first priority for Rockend after 2 November.
